  Timeless Classics car club Meeting Notes February 14, 2010 The annual banquet and meeting was held on February 14, 2010 at Burnham’s canal side in Newark President Perry welcomed the members who attended. There were 52 members who attended. At this time there are 69 members in the club. The Prayer was given by Ruth Gillette. At 1:00 the meal was served. Door prizes were given out. We had a nice selection of prizes from business in the area and gift baskets that were made up by some of the ladies of the club. Eileen Rucsinski presented a gift basket to Chris Pruner for all her help getting the door prizes from area merchants. President Perry presented plaques to Eileen Rucsinki, Dan Davis and Duke Mitchell for all their help with club events and the web site. Larry Perry invited all members to participate in the Tuesday dinners held at different locations throughout the winter months. Dan Davis explained some changes he has made to the website. (tlcny.com) click on events, scroll down to calendar, click on car for events for the month. The meeting was called to order by President Perry. Members present were; President- Larry Perry, Vice – President- Dick Dewolf, Directors Ed Noody and Jim Wedman. Absent was Don LeFever and Jeff Patchett. Treasurer- Keith Wagner and secretary- Donna Warrick. Donna read the minutes of the last meeting. The meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7pm at Richard’s auto. Lois Benham approved the minutes as read seconded by Eileen Rucsinski. Keith Wagner gave the treasurer’s report. There is $2049.35 in the club’s checking account. Bills; The bills for the banquet will be paid for at the next meeting for candies, nuts. Table decorations etc. Unfinished Business: Ed Noody has checked into buying folding tables for the club. He has found some at BJ”s. Lowe’s also sells these tables. Prices will be looked into and a decision will be made at the next meeting. New business: Larry Pruner addressed the members about doing a cruise to the Cobblestone winery on Route 89. and also having a picnic. Dan Davis asked members for pictures of their cars to put on the website. Randy DeLisio told the members that his Thunderbolt is being used as a replica for die cast cars. Congratulations to Randy for that honor. Nancy Hamilton asked members for ideas for places to cruise to this year. Thank you cards will be sent to area merchants for the donations they made to the banquet. Eileen, Sharon and Linda will take care of this. Ron & Lori Yates will organize a Spring cruise to Fillmore Glen for a picnic. More information will be given at a later date. – Elections: Linda Eygnor stated that she received nominations for electon of officers for 2010 season. President- Larry Perry was nominated. No other nominations were made for that position. Lois Benham moved to close the polls. Vice- President- Dick DeWolf was nominated. No other nominations were made. Nancy Hamilton moved to close the polls. Secretary- Donna Warrick was nominated. No other nominatons were made. Lori Yates moved to close the polls Treasurer- Keith Wagner was nominated. No other nominations were made for that position. Lois Benham moved to close the polls. Directors- Floyd Johnson and Ed Noody were nominated for the positon of directors for two years. No other nominations were made. Phil Eygnor moved to close the polls. Eileen Rucsinski moved to have the secretary to cast one ballot for the above nominations. All members were in favor. Dick DeWolf addressed the members and explained what donations were made in 2009. If anyone has ideas of organizations that we could donate to, please let a board member know. It was decided to hold the next meeting on April 5th at Richard’s Auto in Wallington at 7 pm ( there will not be a meeting in March) The meeting was adjourned at 2:26 pm by Keith Wagner and Linda Eygnor. Sue Wagner had the winning ticket for the heart wall hanging quilted by Dorothy Perry and Sharon Yonker. (It was beautiful ) 50/50 winner was Jim Johnson. $33
